WORLD CLASS EDUCATION
Canada is regarded internationally for having one of the best education systems in the world, consistently ranking among the top countries for years. Over the past decade, Canada has seen a rise in popularity in international students, which can be attributed to strong education options, a culturally diverse and open society, and opportunities available to students post-graduation. In 2015 alone, more than 350,000 international students chose to study in Canada. This year, Canada was named the #1 country for education worldwide, due to the excellent education system it offers, as well as its popularity as a student destination.
Currently, Canada is home to four schools within the top 100 according to QS World University Rankings. The University of Alberta ranks 94th overall, the University of British Columbia at 45, and the University of Toronto at 32. McGill University ranks the highest among all Canadian schools, taking the 30th spot in 2017. This highly coveted institution has helped cement Montreal’s reputation as a student-driven city, which secured its spot as the best city for international students in 2017 as well.
